Strategic Business Development Manager – Life Science Research

The Company:

An industry leader in the business of cutting edge instrumentation for oncology, neurology, and infectious disease research in the BioPharma and Biotech space. This company is in search of its next President’s Club Award winning Sales Specialist in their Greater Philadelphia territory.

The Opportunity:

This position is responsible for selling research capital equipment and research services into BioPharma, Biotech, and Research labs. The primary responsibilities for this position will be to expand the territory, primarily through new customer acquisition as well as maintaining / cultivating their current accounts.

This company has some of the most innovative technology in their space, and are experiencing strong growth in revenue and overall company size. They are looking to continue that growth with this expansion role – and offer a very strong compensation package at $200,000-$225,000 total compensation, and in addition they are offering a sizable amount of stock in the company as well.

The Compensation:

Base: $90,000-$130,000 per year (Commensurate with experience)

Bonus: The Plan is UNCAPPED.

Top reps earn between $200,000 – $225,000

Do you have a 4 year degree from an accredited college? Do you have a minimum of five years of Successful Sales Experience with capital research equipment in the biopharma, biotech, or research setting? Do you consider yourself to be a strong leader and salesperson, with a proven track record of closing business? Have you been successful selling Flow Cytometry, Protein Analysis, Immunoassay or other Laboratory Instrumentation? Have you been a top performer, presidents’ club member, or ranked in the top 15% of the outside sales force?
